Lifespan

The lar gibbon typically lives 25–30 years in the wild and can live up to 40 years in captivity.

Diet

The lar gibbon primarily eats fruits, supplemented with leaves, flowers, and occasional insects.

Habitat

The lar gibbon inhabits tropical evergreen and semi-evergreen forests, living mostly in the forest canopy of lowland and hilly regions.

Characteristics
