The Scout Program is an immersive experience that opens up the incredible animal world to children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. Through a combination of up-close animal encounters and interactive, hands-on activities, the program aims to inspire a sense of wonder and foster a lifelong commitment to animal preservation and care.
Operating year-round during regular zoo hours, this program is designed to turn the zoo into a living classroom where learners can engage directly with wildlife. The curriculum focuses on encouraging curiosity and recognition through practical operations that make the science of animal care accessible. While standard sessions are tailored for smaller groups of up to thirty participants to ensure an intimate learning environment, the zoo also offers larger assembly programs that can accommodate up to sixty participants at a time.
To qualify for our discounted school prices, all school visits must be pre-booked two days in advance.
